Literature Text

It was finally my senior year of high school and things were finally going the way I wanted it. I moved into a condo with my best friend Harold that his grandparents were renting but never used, thus giving us the entire thing to ourselves. They even gave us money every week to spend on groceries so that way we could spend the rest of the time on "school work" and get into a good college. As for our looks I was sporting a nice short brown hair that usually styled itself, I'm pretty tall at an even 6 feet while Harold was just a few inches shorter. He always kept his blond hair pretty long and styled to give him that skater look for reasons that even I don't understand.

I only had one required class to graduate and the rest were just random electives I felt like taking. In order to graduate I had to take two semesters of this writing class which was only offered to seniors, which was a huge bummer. The purpose of this class was to prepare us for having to write college level papers but really it was just some joke so we couldn't graduate early like other schools. Best part about having to take this class is Harold was in it. He likes to run his mouth a lot which tends to get him in trouble but hopefully he'll hold it back so he can at least pass this class.

The teacher Mrs. Jans was a bit kooky but was really laid back in terms of how we were to do our work. To start out the class she handed us all composition notebooks with direct instructions that by the end of our senior year we should have it completely filled with whatever we wanted to write about as long as it was stuff we were part of and we had to stick with that subject.

I just stared at the cover contemplating on what exactly I'd want to write about and sadly I drew blanks. Apparently I wasn't the only one because Mrs. Jans told us we didn't have to come up with something right this second, but rather we should wait for that "special moment" where everything just kind of clicks.
"Any idea on what in the hell you're gonna write about, Jack?" asked Harold as he turned towards me.
"Not a freaking clue… But we have the rest of the year to figure that out." I replied as I looked around at the class to see if anyone had actually started writing.

Mrs. Jans was about to interrupt our conversation when the bell rung signaling that class had ended. The classic saved by the bell moment that happened more than Harold and I would like to admit. Both of us walked out of the classroom into the hallway to find our next class designated by our class schedule, neither of us shared any more classes the rest of the day which was a huge let down.

"Guess I'll see you at lunch? Remember keep your mouth closed Harold." I chuckled as we continued down the hallway.
"I can't make promises that I probably won't keep. But yeah, I will see you at lunch." replied Harold with a laugh as we split up.

According to my schedule I had some basic art class next that was on the other side of the school. It wasn't a big deal since I was already half way there and as far as I knew I had a few minutes left to spare before the one minute warning bell would ring. When I got to the classroom door I casually took a look behind me and saw this young woman standing at the end of the hallway in a creepy fashion. She looked like she was dressed in a sexy witch's costume, something you would only find around Halloween. I quickly took a second glance and the woman was gone which kind of gave me the goose bumps. My art class and the rest of my classes up until lunch just kind of went by very quickly and I couldn't wait to tell Harold about what I saw.

"Dude you aren't going to believe what I saw right before second class. Some chick dressed in a witch's costume was just standing at the end of the hall like a stalker." I said to Harold as we sat down with our lunch.
"Are you serious? Jack's got a stalker and it's our first day as seniors!" taunted Harold as he dug into his fries. "At least we can go home after lunch".

I didn't say much afterwards and I was really looking forward to going home. Harold was still giving me grief over what I saw as we walked back to the condo which wasn't that far. When we were about half way home that same woman who I saw in the hallway suddenly appeared in front of us.

"Is that the chick you were talking about?" asked Harold as we both stopped dead in our tracks.
"Umm yes…" I replied trying to keep all eye contact away from the woman in front of us.
"Hello boys!" smiled the woman as she walked closer to us. "If you two are nice to me I'll be on my way but if you are just a little bit rude… Well I'll save that for later."

Both of us looked at her with confusing looks spread across our face as she kept talking about some other stuff that's completely irrelevant. I leaned in to Harold and whispered in his ear to keep his mouth shut and we'll be on our way, that and I didn't want to cause any problems. Of course in a perfect world Harold would have listened to me and we'd be out of this situation with relative ease. Since such a perfect world doesn't exist I had to watch Harold tell the woman to leave us alone and some other obscenities that were totally unnecessary.

"Is that how you really want to be? I just said a few words and you treat me like I'm garbage?" asked the woman in an annoyed tone.
"You've apparently been stalking my friend since this morning and now you're here talking nonsense. Also its not even Halloween yet, you still got a few months to go toots." replied Harold with a smirk.

It was clear that the woman was quite irritated with Harold and I could hear her muttering what sounded like gibberish but I didn't pay much attention. My main focus was on what I was going to do to Harold when we finally got back to the house.

"Why couldn't you have kept your mouth shut? I could have just taken care of this without you getting into trouble and dragging me down with you!" I yelled while looking at Harold. "Look lady… I'm terribly sorry for what my friend said but do you mind letting this one slide?"
"I appreciate your kindness Jack… but your friend here needs to be punished for his rudeness. I have just the thing." she replied with a sweet smile.

She moved in towards Harold and gave him a quick peck on the forehead and had a huge smile on her face as she backed away. Harold looked like he was about to say something but for once he kept his big mouth shut which was an act of god. The woman looked at me with the same smile and told me not to be too hard on him after everything blows over; I gave her a puzzled look in return.

"What the hell is she talking about?" asked Harold as we both watched the lady disappear with a puff of smoke.
"I have no idea… but I think we're going to find out here shortly." I replied as we continued on with our trek home.
Quick introduction to a new TG story that I just started to work on. The title might change as I continue this piece but for now the title fits with what I have written so far. In this first part there is nothing TG related but there will be in the next one.

The idea of this story is to look into what it would be like for two friends if one of them was suddenly turned into a girl and how they would manage their day to day lives because of it.

Soo let me know what ya think and enjoy!
