What If? A EWL Tale: Annoying Neighbors

“Finally it’s Friday night and I can relax,” a young blonde woman sighed as she slipped out of her heels while sitting on the edge of her bed. “As long as those two assholes next door keep quiet…”

Emmi Lams was your average twenty five year old college grad minus the fact that she had the ability to change people at will to whatever form she decided best suited them. She had recently moved into a new apartment after accidentally changing her best friends James and Daniel into an expecting couple on Valentine’s Day.

The mere thought of it still made her cringe. She was still good friends with Diana and James but she couldn’t stay living with them after what had happened. Diana was nine months pregnant and due at any point. Of course Emmi would be there for her friend when she finally had their baby but right now she focused on the relaxing weekend ahead.

As she sat on the edge of her bed, the sound of her two neighbors next door could be heard through the wall. By just listening to the two bicker, Emmi had figured out her next door idiots were two guys about her age and the one’s name was Alex and the other Ryan. They were friends she assumed but the constant fighting between them said otherwise.

Walking into the kitchen, Emmi snagged a bag of popcorn from the cupboard and popped it into the microwave. Even over the sound of the popping, she could hear them yelling at each other. It sounded like something about doing the dishes. Emmi wasn’t really sure since the walls did a slightly decent job of muffling the sound.

She started to wave her hand but stopped herself. “No Emmi, not everything can be fixed with magic.”

Sighing, she grabbed the finished popcorn and walked into the living room. She pulled up Netflix from her smart tv and sat there trying to find something to watch. Pulling up Supernatural she continued where she had left off and leaned back into the couch, resting her feet on the coffee table.

There was peace and quiet for all of about five minutes when there was a sudden bang right up against the wall that her tv was on, almost knocking it over.

“Okay. Enough's enough. If they want to keep fighting like they’re married then so be it.” she said angrily as she waved her hand.

Walking up to the wall, she pressed her ear up against it as she listened to the changes happening next door.

“Dude what the fuck is happening? My dick is gone!” Ryan exclaimed while reaching into his jeans.

“What the fuck? I look like I’m in my 30’s!” Alex yelled back having looked at himself in the mirror. “Damn I actually look pretty good.”

“My skin! What the hell? It’s turning brown? What the fuck is going on?” Ryan screamed, his voice sounding very feminine. “What’s going on with my hair? A wedding ring? What the hell…!?”

Emmi giggled to herself, “an interracial couple? That’s new.” She continued to listen, knowing the changes were going to be finishing up soon.

“Jesus babe look at how big my boobs are. Wait what the fuck? Babe?” Ryan now Raea said feeling proud of her new assets.

“Damn girl, you got a nice ass too.” Alex laughed patting her light brown skinned ass as he held her.

Emmi was trying not to laugh as the last change swept through both of them. Raea’s stomach pushed out till it was the size of a basketball. She could hear the new couple talking about the stuff they still needed to buy for the baby that was now on the way. Satisfied, Emmi stepped away from the wall and went back and sat down on the couch, munching on her popcorn.

“I should really stop making people have babies… Oh who am I kidding, I love babies!” Emmi giggled.
